Ian's Baby Dedication

This past Sunday, Beau and I had the opportunity at our church to dedicate our precious Ian to our Lord and Savior. We, as Ian's parents, made a commitment with God first to each other, to love and honor one another, and then to Ian, to raise him in a way that is honoring and pleasing to our Father so that Ian will grow up knowing the truths of God's Word and His saving grace.

"...from childhood you have known the holy scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." ~ II Timothy 3:15

Ian's grandparents proudly attended the service and also made a commitment to stand beside us in our efforts to lay a strong spiritual foundation for him. And three other couples in our Sunday School class also participated in the service, dedicating their sweet babies as well. They are Shawn and Gertos Dosku, proud parents of Baby Abigail; Justin and Courtney Davis, proud parents of Baby Cadence; and Jason and Melissa Spivey, proud parents of Baby Austin. (We missed you Josh, Bethany, and Baby Cooper!) We, as friends raising our sweet babies together, will be a unified network pointing our precious little ones to the One who loves beyond comprehension and gives hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Beau and I love Ian more than he will ever, ever know and pray and long for the day he comes to realize the depth of God's love for him through the sacrifice Jesus made for Ian on the cross so that he one day can stand before God and be welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven because of his trust and faith in our Savior.

Baby dedications are so special!!! They remind us of what really matters...and how blessed we truly are!!! I have never had a doubt that you and Beau would be great parents!!! Ian is blessed!!!
