Trunk Fest 2009

Every year for Halloween our church hosts Trunk Fest. Trunk Fest is a community event held in the parking lot of our church campus where church members pass out candy from the trunks of their vehicles to thousands of trunk-or-treaters. We had upwards of 10,000 trunk-or-treaters cross our campus this Halloween!!! Every trunk-or-treater was given the opportunity to hear the gospel presented by an amazing group, Team Impact. And there were hundreds of decisions made to follow the Lord!!!

Many of the trunkers, members passing out the candy, take the opportunity to make it even more fun for our trunk-or-treaters by dressing up and decorating their trunks. The theme this year for our Sunday School class was Hollywood and the Red Carpet. We had stars! We had our very own interviewer! We had paparazzi! And of course, the Red Carpet!

Beau and I had so much fun at Trunk Fest this year!!! Ian wore his Lego costume for a total of about 20 seconds! He mostly enjoyed many suckers!

We're looking forward to Trunk Fest 2010!!!
