So these pictures were taken a gazillion years ago! August 28th to be exact! Had them ready for a blog post in draft form and forgot about them till now!
Sooo . . . as you can tell from the title, Ian made the big switch-a-roo to a big boy bed!!!
A few of days before, he began crawling out of his crib and coming out of his room to find us. It was time! Daddy went to work and turned his crib into a big boy bed!
The first night was fun. Lots of trips were made gently ushering him back to his big boy bed. I'm pretty sure we were all tired the next day. The second night was even more fun. This time we took the stern approach and our point was made.
Since then, he's done sooo well in his big boy bed! We have a nite-nite routine which consists of reading bible stories from his toddler bible, singing his ABCs, prayer time, reading of one more book (usually a Clifford one - his favorite is Dogs and Cats), and then a tuckin' in by Mommy, music on, and lights out.
I treasure this sweet one-on-one time each night with my big boy!!!
Next big boy milestone . . . potty-training. Fun.
