Christmas At Mac & Meme's

We celebrated Christmas at Mac and Meme's Sunday. Meme's daughter Nicole and her sweet family, husband Bill and children Emma, Logan, Sadie, and Liam, celebrated with us as well. Beau's brother Cole and Nicole's brother Wes and his wife were not able to attend the festivities this year. Meme fixed a delicious meal for us to enjoy after church, and then we opened gifts and enjoyed the afternoon together.

I loved watching the older kids, Emma and Logan, tear into their gifts and listening to the excitement in their voices upon discovering their surprise! I can't wait for Ian to be at this age!!! This year he was interested in tearing open the gifts but not so much interested in the actual gift itself. He had such a serious expression on his little face as he unwrapped each present. Ian must have been really good this year!!! Thank you, Mac & Meme!!!!

What I find so neat about Mac and Meme's grandchildren is the fact that three of the five are all out red-heads!!! And when Emma was a baby, she had red hair as well!!! Only time will tell if Liam is going to have red hair too! And we all know our Mac doesn't have a choice in the matter! He will surely have red hair adding to the number of red-headed grandchildren in the family! The neat part being we're not blood-related and our kids in many ways could pass as brothers and sisters!!! So fun!!!
