Grammy's Brisket

Ingredients:

3 to 4 lb. brisket

18 oz. barbecue sauce of your choice
(Kraft Hickory Smoke is what I use.)

Salt & Pepper

#1. Using Heavy Duty foil, lay two strips approximately 2.5 feet long of foil in a T-shape, one on top of the other. (See four pics below for better detail.) Place brisket on top of top layer of foil and salt and pepper both sides.

#2. Pour a glob of barbecue sauce underneath the brisket.

#3. Pour the remaining barebecue sauce on top of brisket.

Here's a better picture of the T-shaped foil.

#4. Using the top layer of the T-shaped foil, begin folding sort of like a present.

#5. First layer is done. Do the same for the bottom layer.

Finished "wrapping" our brisket!

#6. Refrigerate overnight or for a few hours.

#7. Fill double boiler pan with water and place brisket on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 5 hours.
May have to add water to pan halfway through.

#8. Remove from oven. Place "wrapped" brisket in serving dish with one end down in the dish. Using knife, cut a slit for the barbecue juice to come out of.

#9. Unwrap brisket from foil.

#10. Using electric knife, slice brisket. Place in serving dish with barbecue juice. Enjoy!
